3 Days Masai Mara Sky Safari

Highlights

• DAY 1: You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost. Meet and greet at your city hotel within Nairobi at 0800hrs and immediately drive to Wilson Airport to catch the 1000hrs flight to Masai Mara National reserve. Arrive and meet your driver waiting at the airstrip. You will then enjoy a rewarding mid-morning game drive en-route to your luxurious safari lodge or camp offering fantastic game viewing opportunities in the early morning. Break for lunch at the camp then afterwards another afternoon game drive till sunset in the reserve which is famously known for the big five and migration of wildebeest (seasonal between July and October). Animals that are easily spotted include elephant, buffalo, lion, and bird species and plains game. Transfer back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. One can opt an evening bush dinner under the starlit African sky. (Optional)
• Day 2: Early breakfast followed by morning game drive for an opportunity to visit the scenic hippo pool and the Mara River whose winding banks are the lifeline of the park as it provides regular water supply to the ecosystem. One can opt hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective of the Maasai Mara (optional). If lucky, witness the rare crossing of wildebeest at one of the popular crossing points (July & October). The river banks and the marsh regions are also best areas to spot the cats. After lunch continue with an afternoon game drive till evening. Optional activities include: Cultural visit to a Masai village ($25 per person); hot air balloon ride above the spectacular Masai Mara ($450 per person). As the sun sets you are transferred back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 3: Early breakfast at 6.00am then check out of the camp and proceed for a short morning game drive for the last chance to spot animals that you could have missed out on the previous days. After the morning game drive, you are transferred to Olkiombo Airstrip to catch the 1100hrs flight back to the city. Reach Nairobi at 1215hrs and be met by the driver for a transfer back to your preferred city hotel.
